Grove Block Being Taken Up By Homesites
Old citrus rows on sandy ground with abandoned irrigation still in place. Trees and lines removed, stumps ground and the ground rough-graded for driveways and building pads.

CENTRAL FLORIDA LAND & DEMO
Lake County · Central Florida
Minneola sits between Clermont and Groveland along the Highway 50 corridor, and its ground reads differently from either neighbour - the rolling hills soften as they run west, and much of the city is still former grove and open pasture being taken up by smaller subdivisions and individual homesites. Lake Minneola holds the city's southern edge, and the lots that run down to the water are the ones that most often need careful clearing.
That mix suits the way we work. Grove conversion means taking out rows of old citrus, grinding the stumps and pulling abandoned irrigation before a lot can be graded; newer homesites often need only brush clearing and a pad cut into a gentle slope, and a lakefront homesite needs a view opened without losing the shade that made the lot worth buying. We handle land clearing, brush clearing, forestry mulching, brush hogging and grading across Lake County. When an old structure has to go first, the demolition is handled by our demolition subcontractors and the permits for it are procured if they are needed. On a city this size the footprint of a job is usually small - the access is what shapes the plan.

Mixed grass and scattered hardwoods on ground that needed a compacted pad. Material mulched in place and the pad left ready for a builder.
A lot falling gently toward the water. Selective clearing kept a woodland edge on two sides, opened a view to the lake and cleared and graded the building area and approach.
A small lot in the older part of town, overgrown and reached from a residential street with limited room to work. Brush hogging and light clearing around a small structure.
Minneola's ground is gentler - the hills that make Clermont challenging flatten out as they run west toward Groveland. Less slope usually means less cut-and-fill and a simpler grading plan, though every lot is still quoted on its own. Give us the shape of the job and we will price it properly - the estimate carries no obligation.
Yes - taking out old grove is routine in Minneola. We remove the trees, grind the stumps and pull out the abandoned irrigation lines, then grade the ground for its next use. If the land is going residential we can also flag whether soil testing makes sense before you build.
Individually, because two lots of the same size rarely cost the same. What moves the number: the area being cleared, vegetation type and thickness (open pasture clears far faster than dense mixed brush), tree size and whether stumps are ground or left, how easily equipment can reach the work, whether material is mulched in place or hauled off, and how level the finished surface needs to be. Photos are a good start; we confirm with a site visit when the job needs one.
Both. A lot of Minneola work is individual homesites and small phases rather than large tracts. Small jobs are welcome, and we size the equipment to the access - a narrow frontage or a shared driveway changes the plan more than the acreage does.
Yes. On established Minneola lots we work in tighter bands around the structure, keep equipment on the driveway or lane where possible, and control dust and noise next to close properties. Where a tree matters we mark it first and it stays put.
Yes - we clear lakefront lots on Lake Minneola and the smaller lakes around Minneola. Most owners want a view opened without losing the shade and privacy that made them buy, so the work is selective: understory and scrub out, a sightline trimmed through the canopy, mature oaks left standing, and the ground above the water worked so nothing runs down into it.
