Agricultural Ground Out Of Production
Volunteer growth between the rows and heavy brush along the field edges. Cleared back to usable ground, mulched where the material can stay and hauled where it cannot.

CENTRAL FLORIDA LAND & DEMO
Hillsborough County · Central Florida
Ruskin is the south end of Hillsborough County, where the farmland inland meets the bay, and it takes three different kinds of clearing work. There is acreage — agricultural ground and larger parcels being converted to something else, with fence lines and lanes grown shut. There is the residential and redevelopment work that comes with a growing community. And there is waterfront property, where lots on canals and the shoreline need the growth taken back so the water is usable again. We do all three. Inland the ground is sandy and low, and it grows fast: palmetto and scrub oak over old pasture, volunteer growth between rows on ground that has come out of agricultural use, and heavy brush along fences and field edges. On larger parcels mulching in place usually makes more sense than hauling, leaving ground that can be mown and worked rather than a bare scrape. Where the property is being brought back into use, fence lines and lanes are reopened and gate positions graded as part of the job. Waterfront work here is mostly about the frontage: canal banks and shoreline lots where bank growth and brush have taken the water out of view, and where access needs to be cleared along the length of the property. That is work we do — clearing bank growth back from the water, and hauling or mulching what comes out. Work inside a regulated protection area, and the environmental permitting around a shoreline or drainage boundary, is not something we take on; where a lot sits inside that line we will tell you plainly rather than start. Redevelopment parcels are a third pattern: growth off the lot, the ground graded for what comes next, and old structures cleared out. Demolition is carried out by our demolition subcontractors, with permits procured when needed. Access and haul distance are real cost drivers on these parcels, and so is what is growing: heavy agricultural brush takes longer to clear than ordinary lot growth.
We work acreage and agricultural ground, canal and waterfront frontage, and redevelopment parcels where the growth comes off and the ground is graded for what comes next.

A lot on the canal with bank growth well past the seawall line. Frontage cut back so the water is usable again, heavier growth mulched in place and access opened along the length of the property.
Larger ground where the field lanes and fence lines have grown shut together. Perimeter reopened, lanes cut back to grade and gate positions graded for vehicles.
Ground cleared and graded for what comes next, with older structures coming out through our demolition subcontractors and permits procured when needed.
What it costs depends on the property: how many acres, what is growing on them and how heavy it is, whether the access will take machinery, how much material has to leave the site, and whether grading, lane or frontage work is included. Tell us about your property and we'll come back with a real number — no obligation.
For most land clearing, brush hogging and mulching, no permit is typically required. Waterfront and agricultural parcels can carry their own conditions, and demolition is a separate case: that work is carried out by our demolition subcontractors, and permits are procured when needed. We're insured.
Yes. Ground out of agricultural use usually means volunteer growth between rows, brush along the field edges and lanes grown shut. It is cleared back to usable ground — mulched in place where the material can stay, or cut and hauled where it cannot.
Yes — bank growth cut back from the water and access cleared along the frontage is work we do. Work inside a regulated protection area, and the permitting around a shoreline or drainage boundary, is not something we take on, and we will say so before starting.
Yes. That is usually growth off, ground graded for what comes next, and old structures out. Demolition is carried out by our demolition subcontractors with permits procured when needed, and we clear and grade after it.
